22 Ὁ λύχνος τοῦ σώματός    34  Ὁ λύχνος τοῦ σώματός
  ἐστιν ὁ ὀφθαλμός.     ἐστιν ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου.
 

ἐὰν οὖν* ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ἁπλοῦς,

    ὅταν ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου ἁπλοῦς ᾖ,*
  ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου    

καὶ ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου

  φωτεινὸν ἔσται·     φωτεινόν ἐστιν·
23 ἐὰν δὲ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου πονηρὸς ᾖ,     ἐπὰν δὲ πονηρὸς ᾖ,
  ὅλον τὸ σῶμά σου σκοτεινὸν ἔσται.     καὶ τὸ σῶμά σου σκοτεινόν.
  εἰ οὖν   35 σκόπει οὖν μὴ
  τὸ φῶς τὸ ἐν σοὶ σκότος ἐστίν,     τὸ φῶς τὸ ἐν σοὶ σκότος ἐστίν.
  τὸ σκότος πόσον.
