  λέγων·     λεγεν·  1  λεγεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς·
3 Μακάριοι οἱ πτωχοὶ     Μακάριοι οἱ πτωχοὶ,   Μακάριοι οἱ πτωχοὶ,
  τῷ πνεύματι,          
  ὅτι αὐτῶν ἐστιν     ὅτι ὑμετέρα ἐστὶν   ὅτι ὑμετέρα ἐστὶν
  ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν.     ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ.   ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν.

*Note: In Matt & Luke this is the first in a string of beatitudes.
In the gospel of Thomas it appears as an independent aphorism.
 To facilitate comparison of texts I have retro-translated Thomas' saying from Coptic to Greek
using Michael Grondin's literal interlinear translation of GThomas
